Volunteer Opportunities
Contact Trips For Kids Ottawa to find out what volunteer opportunities are available, from ride leading, fund-raising and communications to bike mechanic support.
- After School Programs
- After-school bike programs start as soon as the trails are open in the spring and continue until the end of the school year, then resume in September and run through to November. Kids are grouped based on age and skill level. No prior experience is required.
- We currently run ride programs at Bell High School, Ecole Secondaire Franco-Ouest, Frederick Banting Secondary Alternate School and the Carembeck Community Centre in Carleton Place. We also offer snowshoe and skating outings in winter.
- “More Girls On Bikes” Initiative
- Trips for Kids Ottawa is proud to be involved with the TFK National initiative to increase the number of girls in our programs by 10% this year.
