About The Campaign Against Hunger
The Campaign Against Hunger’s mission is to empower our neighbors to lead healthier, more productive, and self-sufficient lives by increasing access to safe, nutritious food and related resources.
Over the past twenty-two years, TCAH has grown and stretched from operating out of a small pantry in a church basement to meeting some of the day’s toughest challenges–like youth empowerment, nutrition education, and community engagement–head-on.
Currently at TCAH we are offering the following volunteer opportunities:
Food Pantry: SuperPantry
Urban Agro-Ecological Center: Eastern Parkway & Saratoga (Brooklyn)
To assist farm staff with land clearing, building beds, leveling land, soil composting, planting.
Urban Agro-Ecological Center: Far Rockaway
