Refood is a food rescue charity. We deliver surplus food from grocery stores to food insecure communities. This food would otherwise be wasted because of its appearance, packaging or being close to its expiry date.
Volunteer Opportunities
The nature of the volunteering is creating a bit of a complex environment to deliver quality job in a short time. However by having well organized meetings it is well managed at Refood. Having crystal clear objectives that are timebound, plus a high level of communication and feedback loops may unleash more potential at Refood.
Thanks to Danison who planted the seed of Refood and made this grow with the help of so many bright and lovely talents helping to feed our people all around Vancouver area.
The purpose, values, and beliefs with high level of accountability about our in-need communities, is a major reason why Refood is a great place for volunteering.
