About Radio Lollipop
Radio Lollipop is an international charity that has brought care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children in hospital for over 40 years. The radio station is used as a tool for play. Our volunteers run radio programs and interact with pediatric patients in the studio and at the bedside. While patients are unable to make many choices during a hospital stay, Radio Lollipop offers them a voice and a choice.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers commit to one night a week for approximately 3 hrs. Right now we have service on Monday nights and we’re looking to expand programming to another night (TBD).
Volunteers will be interviewed by the hospital as well as a member of the Radio Lollipop team and must agree to a medical clearance and background check.
