Inner City Outreach (ICO) is a Canadian non-profit that is dedicated to transforming under-served areas of major urban centres, starting with Jane and Finch in Toronto, Canada. ICO is located at Jane Street and Shoreham Drive and reaches out to communities throughout the Jane and Finch corridor.
Volunteer Opportunities
After-School Homework Club: Homework help and fun activities for elementary & middle school kids
– Grades 1-8
– Monday-Thursday, 3-5pm
– Help kids with their homework
– Set up & clean up
– Help supervise activities and games
Revolution Basketball: Basketball program for youth
– Grades 6-12
– Thursdays, 6-9pm
– Set up & clean up
– Score-keeping, supervising, reffing
March Break Camp: One-week camp for Grades 1-8 kids from Homework Club
– Supervise children at camp and on field trips
– Help with setting up and running activities
– Giving snack and supervising lunch
Summer Camp: 8-week camp for Grades 1-8
– Set up and prepare activities
– Help supervise children at camp and on field trips
– Clean up after activities and at the end of the day
– Help with sign-in and sign-out
Special Events: fundraising events, community outreach events, etc.
