Volunteer Opportunities

GrowNYC has'opportunities for individuals to dig in and improve New York City's environment block by block and community by community.'Individuals must be 18 years of age or older and attend an orientation before volunteering.'Orientations are held monthly for volunteering with GrowNYC's food access programs, Greenmarkets, Farmstands, and Fresh Food Box sites. You are required to attend an orientation'in order volunteer.

It takes just three easy steps to start volunteering with GrowNYC:

1. Create a volunteer profile
2. Sign up for an upcoming orientation.
3. Once you've completed the orientation, sign up for GrowNYC Volunteer Opportunities via our volunteer portal.
