Bruce House is committed to ensuring our clients have access to equality, housing stability, supported independence, and opportunities for healthy living.
Our clientele includes women, men, and children living with HIV who may be dealing with addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and incarceration.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are found at all levels of the organization, where they provide services to clients, assist with administration, help with fundraising events, provide strategic direction to the organization, and more.
- Outreach program: Volunteers are needed for grocery shopping, food delivery, check on the clients.
- Administration, fundraising volunteer: Assist in day-to-day tasks needed, events and activities for fundraising.
- Buddy Program: Through this program, a client is paired up with a volunteer who will provide support around psycho-social needs to reduce social isolation.
