In 1987, ACCKWA was formally incorporated as an AIDS Service Organization, establishing support groups for PHAs and offering anonymous HIV Testing and a Needle Syringe Program several years later.

Orientation Training for volunteers, students and peers is usually offered on a Saturday in early fall and again in late winter every year.
ACCKWA, The Agency 101, Harm Reduction, HIV 101 and Safer Spaces are the modules in this training.
