The Ottawa Mission works with people experiencing homelessness and poverty to make a change in their lives. Whether it's providing a place to sleep and a meal to eat, or offering educational support and job training, The Ottawa Mission helps rebuild lives every day.
Volunteering connects you to a purpose-driven community, lets you use your talents to give back to people who are hungry and hurting, and furthers our transformative programs and services. Please find out how you can give your skills and time to help vulnerable members of our community. We'd love to have your help!
Volunteering as a group can be a rewarding shared experience of making a difference in your community. Groups can provide general volunteer support, such as kitchen, housekeeping, or maintenance support. Groups can also sponsor activities, such as making sandwiches or creating hope packages for our Addiction and Trauma Services department.
