À propos
The Ontario Clean Air Alliance led the successful campaign to phase-out Ontario’s five dirty coal-fired power plants. We are now working to move Ontario towards a 100% renewable future through an integrated combination of energy conservation and efficiency, water power imports from Quebec and cost-effective Made-in-Ontario green energy.
Les possibilités de bénévolat
We have two active campaigns that we're distributing leaflets on, depending on where you live.
- 1. To phase out gas-fired power plants in ON by 2030: https://www.cleanairalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/POC_Toronto_DEC26_WEB-1.pdf
- 2. To not subsidize a new nuclear reactor in the GTA: https://www.cleanairalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Oshawa-Reactor-Pamphlet-readable-layout-3-jan-05.pdf
As a community group (and a charity), we rely on volunteers to help us get the word out. These volunteer hours are eligible for high school or community service hours. If interested, we can mail you a box of leaflets and a map around your house to distribute on your own time. Volunteers pop them in mailboxes (we’ll show you how to do this). You can learn more and order pamphlets by emailing volunteer@cleanairalliance.org.
